These are 5 of the Most Expensive Gaming Chairs
If you’re ready to take your gaming setup to the next level and you’ve got loads of cash lying around, check out these five expensive gaming chairs.
Gaming is an expensive hobby. For most of us, shelling out THB 2,000 (HKD 440) on a Game is already a big ask. Worth it, sure, but still big. Don’t even get me started about the hardware. Consoles will run you less than THB 20,000 (HKD 4402) while a good PC with everything will probably clock in at around THB 50,000 (HKD 11006). We haven’t even mentioned the additional accessories you may want for a great gaming setup, which brings us to this list: some of the most expensive gaming chairs out there you can buy. If you’ve got the dough and you really want to get a gaming setup that will blow your mind and everyone else’s, consider the ones one this list.
Some of the most expensive gaming chairs
Secretlab TITAN 2020 Series – $749
This brand is well-known among the gaming community for making accessories and a lot of comfortable chairs. The Titan 2020 Series is one of their more high-end creations. It looks simple at first glance: its sleek black leather design isn’t flashy at all but that’s by design to keep the attention on the Gamer when streaming. What’s important is how comfortable it is, and it definitely delivers on that front.
Roto VR Chair – $2,399
If it isn’t obvious by its name, this chair is dedicated for VR. Instead of standing and running the risk of falling flat on your face when you jump off a cliff in-Game, the seat can rotate along with you and can also vibrate for that added haptic experience. It’s like you own 4D theatre experience, which explains the hefty price tag.
GTM Motion Simulator – $3,499
Driving Game enthusiasts or Euro Truck Simulator streamers know that immersion is key, and no other gaming chair will make you more immersed than this one when it comes to driving Games. On its website, it promises Gamers that they will “experience the same thrill that real-life race drivers feel”. The whole cockpit does look impressive and will undoubtedly make you feel like Lewis Hamilton on the track—or Crash Bandicoot throwing a bomb at Neo Cortex from his kart. Both are equally valid.
IW-J20 PRO – $8,000
If you’ve ever dreamed of gaming in a tank, then the IW-J20 PRO is the gaming chair for you. The metal exosuit-like design wraps overhead like a steel scorpion, but the design feature that definitely pops out the most is the rail guns that flank the chair. Is it real? No. Is it cool? Sure, I guess? Add the fact that there are tracks on the bottom similar to what tanks have and you either have a really cool or really over the top gaming chair. You be the judge.
Emperor 200 – $44,750
Topping the list and making an astronomic jump in price is the Emperor 200. This futuristic chair has multiple built-in display monitors, built-in surface keyboards, and comfortable seats, of course. Other additional features include an air filtration and a light therapy system so that the air around you is clean and you also get your dose of Vitamin D. Basically, it provides you the Health benefits of what you would get if you spent some time outside, but let’s not kid ourselves. Don’t forget though: it’s more expensive than your average BMW.
